Uniden BCT15X BearTracker Mobile Tracking Scanner with GPS Support (Black)

I ordered 2 of the Uniden BCT15X scanners. I was able to get one of the scanners programmed and scanning my local frequencies in about 15 minutes using my computer and some readily available free software from the internet. I'll work on the other scanner later today. An excellent scanner with many familiar scanner features and a very nice display. If you are not familiar with the newer types of scanners using systems instead of banks, it may take a little time at first. However there are plenty of useful videos on YouTube that you can learn from. It is not that difficult at all and soon you will be using this great scanner with no trouble. A couple of technical notes. 1. The display on the scanner does not look anything like the display on all of the advertisements for this scanner. The font on the actual scanner is larger. It is identical to the more expensive BCD996XT model, except the color is a reddish orange. Whereas you can change the color of the BCD996XT, the color of the BCT15X can't be changed. 2. This scanner will not receive digital signals. 3. The programming cable included plugs into a serial port on the computer.
